Nord Drivesystems is expanding its customer support offering with digital ordering tools, technical services, and lifecycle programs aimed at streamlining the purchase and operation of drive systems.
Nord’s support model combines 24/7 digital access with local service infrastructure. Founded in 1965, Nord operates 48 subsidiaries in 36 countries. In North America, it supports customers through five assembly centers, one additional support center, and a distributor network of more than 500 locations.
At the center of the offering is the myNord online customer portal, which the company says is a platform for product selection, configuration, quoting, documentation, and order tracking. The portal has more than 26,500 users worldwide and includes an online spare parts shop.
Available products include worm gear units, AC motors, variable frequency drives, motor starters, and replacement components such as bearings, seals, gearing, and gaskets.

Condition monitoring, maintenance support
Beyond ordering tools, Nord offers condition monitoring, commissioning support, and system assessment services designed to help customers manage maintenance and performance.
Its condition monitoring technology uses integrated programmable logic controller (PLC) and sensor data to identify operating issues early, while commissioning services include on-site and remote support, laser alignment, vibration analysis, thermography, and parameter optimization.

The company also offers Nord ECO and Smart Check programs to evaluate existing drive systems for inefficiencies, wear, and maintenance risks. Nord says those services are designed to support predictive maintenance, reduce unplanned downtime, and help customers assess the total cost of ownership and return on investment when selecting or upgrading drive solutions.
