According to Flexlink, the RC12 is a user-friendly system that requires no robotics programming expertise. The integrated human-machine interface (HMI) and robot config palletizing software enable operators to create and modify pallet patterns within minutes, reducing setup time, enhancing production efficiency, and minimizing downtime.
Included with the machine is Omron’s TM 12-S robot arm, efficiently handling payloads of up to 10 kg at a rate of up to 14 boxes per minute with a double-pick gripper.
The RC12 has a footprint of less than 10 square meters and is ideal for space-constrained environments and reduces the footprint of traditional palletizers by more than 50% compared to traditional palletizers. It’s quick to move, install, and easy to configure and can be implemented across industries including food, dairy, beverage, electronics, personal care, home care, pharma, luxury goods, pet care, and more.
“With the RC12, we have developed a compact, versatile, and easy-to-integrate collaborative palletizing solution that helps manufacturers address operational challenges efficiently while ensuring seamless interaction between operators and automation,” Judith Brockmann, head of product management at FlexLink, said in a statement.
The product can also be customized to include safety scanners, fencers, custom grippers, rejection stations, QR/bar codes reading, and rigid or flexible interlayers.

The RC12 meets the ISO/TS 15066 safety standards for collaborative robots. The redesigned gripper and enhanced safety padding enables secure interaction between operators and the machine, ensuring worker protection while preserving efficiency.
