Conveyor systems serve as the driving force behind modern packaging processes as they transport products to various stations. To achieve peak capacity, they must bring speed, efficiency, and automation to various industries.
With that in mind, Columbus McKinnon Corporation will showcase several conveyor solutions at Pack Expo Southeast next month. Featuring products from its family of brands including Dorner, Garvey, and German-based montratec.

Dorner’s C3 Belted Curve
Dorner, which is known for its conveyor and automation systems, manufacturing, and integration, will showcase its newest solution, the C3 Belted Curve.
This conveyor features economical and gentle material handling for production line configurations including curves and turns. It uses an FDA-approved fabric belting to facilitate both a 90-degree and 180-degree curve. The C3 can be deployed for companies across a variety of industries that need to maximize footprint while improving throughput.
Combining the FDA-approved belting and stainless bed plate, this product complies with Baking Industry Sanitation Standards Committee (BISSC) standards, making it a good solution for any bakery setting or confectionary product.
You can see the C3 Belted Curve in action at the conference, it will demonstrate its capabilities integrated in a loop with a 3200 Series Retracting Tail conveyor. Retractable conveyors feature conveyor frames that can retract, or extend, manually or pneumatically for use in various applications, like rejecting, depositing, product routing, stacking, or walk-through.
Dorner’s AquaPruf VBT & AquaGard LPZ
The company will also have a demonstration to showcase its sanitary platform. The loop features Dorner’s AquaPruf VBT (vertical belt technology) conveyor, which is designed to move products in straight-up 90° sanitary applications and features a staggered sidewall belt for increased pocket capacity.
The AquaPruf family of conveyors deliver high levels of sanitary elements and are designed to withstand high-pressure and chemical washes.
Dorner will also share its AquaGard LPZ Conveyor, which can be configured with one or two fixed-angle portions that allow the conveyor to accommodate a variety of height and angle requirements.
This family of conveyors is engineered for packaging and processing applications that need periodic dry wipe-downs or washdowns with soap and water.
Dorner’s FlexMove
The company will exhibit its FlexMove Wedge conveyor. This machine is designed to facilitate the easy rapid and secure transport of products between different levels on the production floor. It’s built with lightweight, yet durable, materials like aluminum or stainless steel. This conveyor offers rapid transit rates which are good for high-capacity operations.
Garvey’s GRX Infinity Accumulation Table
Garvey, which is another brand in the Columbus McKinnon family, will display its GRX Infinity Accumulation Table. This solution uses technology to accumulate and single-file unstable products at high speeds. With its design, the accumulation table can safely handle products with no back pressure, no breakage, no label damage, and minimal noise. Its interior surfaces are angled to prevent debris from collecting. It also features access to all interior and exterior surfaces for cleaning to meet FDA standards.
montratec’s Shuttles
montratec will demonstrate its montrac Shuttles, which include intelligent single, or twin-axle conveyors that are equipped with an onboard power supply. It minimizes cycle times and increases customer operational output.
The company’s solutions use asynchronous movement of shuttles that allow products to be moved independently in several directions at varying speeds to balance production lines. This increases flexibility and productivity. montratec brings a cleanroom certification, which expands market access in the battery, EV, life sciences, electronics, and semiconductor industries.
