BRECOflex announced the launch of its T10 TPEXclassic timing belts this week, engineered for low- to moderate-load conveying applications.
The product line combines polyurethane materials, specially designed tension members, and an FDA-compliant extruded thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) backing. The belts are shipped from New Jersey and intended for use in standard conveying systems without custom or highly specialized configurations.
“With TPEXclassic, we’re bringing our engineering expertise to a more cost-efficient solution for everyday conveying applications,” said Paula Newberry, president of BRECOflex, in a statement. “Customers get a reliable product they can trust, supported by the same service and performance BRECOflex is known for.”
Application performance and availability
The company says the TPEXclassic line can be used in standard conveying systems, and the extruded backing provides a continuous bond versus adhesive-backed alternatives.
The belts offer tensile strength comparable to standard spliced and welded belts. They feature a water-resistant, high-grip backing surface for use in regulated environments.

U.S. operations and response time
Last fall at Pack Expo Las Vegas, BRECOflex spoke with Packaging OEM about the benefits of its U.S.-based operations.
“The important part about BRECOflex is that we’re the only manufacturer in the United States who sells belts and pulleys under one roof,” said Marc Slack, North American sales manager for BRECOflex.
He explained that the company can respond quickly to customer needs, including when immediate support is required.
“If you need something, or if you have a breakdown, we can get it to you super quick in the market,” said Slack.
Supporting machine builders
BRECOflex works directly with OEMs on machine designs, as well as through channel partners.
“We have engineered designs and replacement belting, spare parts as well,” said Slack. “We work with OEMs in direct builds, and we also work with distribution nationwide.”
